Yes. A significant portion of our work involves advising foreign nationals on property ownership structures, foreign business act considerations, and IP filings in Thailand. All consultations are conducted in English, and we are familiar with the documentation requirements relevant to non-Thai clients.
How long does an intellectual property registration typically take?
Preparation of documentation and the prior-art or trademark search generally takes three to four weeks, after which we file on your behalf. The Department of Intellectual Property's examination and registration process can take considerably longer and varies by application type. We keep clients informed throughout and manage any correspondence from the department.
What is included in the real estate transaction service?
The service covers the complete transaction from initial document review through to Land Office transfer. This includes title deed verification, review of sale or lease agreements, identification of encumbrances or restrictions, advice on transfer tax obligations, and preparation of supplementary agreements where your interests require additional protection.
How is the Corporate Governance Advisory service structured?
The arrangement operates on a quarterly review cycle. After each review, a written compliance status report is provided covering board resolutions, shareholder meeting documentation, and statutory filings. Between reviews, up to six hours of advisory consultation per month are available. This service is particularly suited to limited companies with five or more shareholders, or those preparing for external audit or due diligence.
How are fees structured and when is payment required?
Each service carries a stated fee in Thai Baht. Payment terms and scheduling are discussed during the initial consultation. For ongoing arrangements such as the governance advisory, a monthly retainer structure applies. We are transparent about scope and fees before any engagement begins.
