About Us
A Measured Approach to Civil and Commercial Law
Founded on the principle that legal counsel should inform, not overwhelm, Thammasak has served businesses and individuals in Bangkok since 2009.
Back to HomeOur Story
Rooted in Bangkok, Focused on Practice
Thammasak was established in 2009 on Silom Road — one of Bangkok's foremost commercial districts — with a singular aim: to provide civil and commercial legal services that are substantive, clearly communicated, and genuinely useful to the clients who need them.
The practice grew from the recognition that many businesses in Thailand, including both local enterprises and those with foreign ownership or investment, often encounter legal questions they cannot easily resolve without guidance from a practitioner who understands both the regulatory landscape and the practical realities of operating here.
Over the years, our work has expanded to encompass intellectual property registration advisory for Thai creators and companies, legal support for property transactions involving foreign nationals and corporate buyers, and structured governance and compliance advisory for established limited companies.
We do not take a transactional view of client relationships. When a matter concludes, clients remain welcome to reach out with questions, and we aim to be a resource that is accessible when genuinely needed rather than one that generates contact unnecessarily.

Our Mission
Legal advice that serves clarity, not complexity
We believe that well-structured legal advice should reduce uncertainty for our clients — not increase it. Every engagement is approached with that in mind, whether the matter is a single property transaction or an ongoing governance arrangement.

Expertise
Legal Practice in Bangkok's Commercial Context
Bangkok's position as Thailand's commercial and administrative capital means that a wide range of civil and commercial legal matters converge in the city. From trademark registration at the Department of Intellectual Property on Nonthaburi Road to title deed transfers at the Bangkok Metropolitan Land Office, the practical conduct of legal work here requires familiarity with specific government processes and the officials who administer them.
Thammasak has operated from the Silom corridor since 2009, and our team has developed working knowledge of the administrative procedures, documentation standards, and timelines that apply across our three practice areas. This operational familiarity reduces delays and allows us to give clients realistic expectations from the outset.
For businesses, the Civil and Commercial Code of Thailand provides the primary legislative framework governing contract, property, and company matters. Compliance with its requirements, alongside sector-specific regulations such as the Foreign Business Act and relevant ministerial notifications, requires ongoing attention — particularly as companies grow, restructure, or prepare for external investment.
We work with businesses at different stages: those registering their first trademark, those completing a property acquisition, and those that have reached a scale where structured governance is not simply advisable but necessary. Each engagement is sized to what the matter actually requires.
